Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Michigan
Job Details: Our client is looking for an Emergency Medicine doctor in Michigan
Start Date: Ongoing
Schedule: All shifts are 9 or 10 hour shifts but site is open to offering 12 hour shifts. There is no call associated with Emergency Medicine.
Requirements:
- Board Certified (No BE), will accept IM/FM with minimum of 2+ years of recent ED experience
- MI License - not accepting IMLC - Required
- Certification Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Provider must be local
- Clean background for quick credentialing
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Adult Outpatient
- Pediatric-General Outpatient
- Newborn resuscitation
- Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures
- Suturing of minor lacerations
- Incision & Drainage
- Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway
- Various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation
- Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
- Central Line
- Arterial Line
- EKG Interpretation
- Arthrocentesis
- Lumbar puncture
- Paracentesis
- EM related procedures
Employee Health Requirement
a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season
b. Covid documentation - If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed
c. TB - 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months
d. TB Questionnaire
e. Hep B - titer with quantifiable numbers or declination
f. MMR - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
g. Varicella - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers
h. TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)Benefits:
