Facility in need of a locum hematologist/oncologist to start as soon as credentialed.

Job Details:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 130 days from offer acceptance
• Schedule: 3 clinic days per week (Monday–Friday), 8:00am–4:30pm
• Call Schedule: Some weekends (2–3 per year), nights 1:10
• Setting: Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
• Reason for Coverage: Leave of Absence
• Patient Population: Adults, Geriatric
• Practice Focus: 80% Hematology, 20% Oncology (no internal medicine)
• Physicians in Practice: 10
• APPs: 8
• Average Daily Census:
  • Hospital: 10 patients
  • Outpatient Clinic: 15 patients
• Trauma Level: I
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Connecticut license in hand at time of submission (no exceptions)
• Local candidates only (no flights) – highly preferred
