The facility is seeking a locum radiation oncologist to provide full-time coverage starting as soon as credentialed. Coverage must be provided in 4-week blocks, with no time off during each block. Time off between blocks is acceptable.

Job Details:

• Number of Physicians in Practice: 1
• No other radiation oncologists present during coverage
• Average Daily Census:
  
  • Outpatient: 20–25 patients (on treatment, weekly visits, follow-ups, consults)
  • Inpatient: 0–1 patients
• Trauma Level: II
• Patient Population: Adult
• EMR: Aria

Start Date:

• As soon as credentialed (temporary privileges available; approx. 30–60 days)

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• 8 hours per day
• No call
• Coverage must be in full-time 4-week stretches

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active Iowa license or Active IMLC (no candidates needing to obtain IA/IMLC)
• COVID vaccination
• Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing
• Must be available for full 4-week coverage blocks
• Aria documentation experience highly preferred (note at time of name clear)
• Local candidates within driving distance highly preferred
