Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Colorado is seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Neurosurgeon for a permanent position. This is a replacement role due to high demand, with only one neurosurgeon currently on staff. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Practice Details:
- Schedule: 2 days clinic, 2 days OR, 1 flex day
- Clinic volume: 8–12 patients/day, plus additional patients from 3–4 APPs
- ER call: 7 days/month, mostly remote image review; minimal in-person requirements
- Weekend call: 1 weekend/month
- Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, clinic
- Trauma Level: III
- General neurosurgery with opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice
- Team includes 1 neurosurgeon and 4 experienced APPs
- Clinic co-located with pain services and on-site X-ray
- Neuro-navigation tools: Globus Robot and Stryker
- EMR: EPIC
- Not open to 1099, visa candidates, or those commuting long distances
- New graduates accepted through 2025, if TRULY Board Eligible and working toward certification
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (ABNS only)
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA license required prior to start
- Clean malpractice history required
- Must not require visa sponsorship (J1 or H1B)
