Kian is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine and a Board-Certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in solid organ transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. He has a breadth of experience and leadership positions in transplant programs and both local and national committees as well as being a past member of the Colorado Medical Board.
He has worked as a tenured academic, hospital-employed and private practice physician and brings those unique perspectives to the table when working to solve staffing needs and curating experiences for providers. Having built robust transplant, hepatobiliary and robotics programs at different hospitals, he knows what it takes to create lasting service lines in healthcare.
He is optimistic that locum tenens will continue to be an ongoing and expanding need in the healthcare space which will offer tenable solutions for both health systems and providers.

Jim is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine and a Board-Certified General Surgeon. He has been involved as a principal investor and developer in multiple successful ambulatory surgery center ventures. He has been a delegate to the Colorado Medical Society, served on multiple boards related to physician reimbursement models, was a founding member of SurgOne, PC, and served on multiple committees in both his private practice and various hospitals.
He has been involved as a locum tenens provider serving a critical access hospital. He experienced the real need, in the critical access space, for both patients and hospitals. He developed a very workable solution by providing a routine team of locum’s physicians who could meet the ongoing needs in these communities.
He also has become very sensitive to the current and increasing dissatisfaction amongst many doctors. He strongly believes the locum tenens model is a path for these doctors, underserved patients, and understaffed hospitals, to all benefit.
